5-7m Meter Wanted - Up to 20,000 Euro to spent

Hi Guys,

Looking for a 5-7m Rib, not that fussy on the make.

Would like seating for 6 people with a bench seat at the back of the rib, would usually have 5-6 60-80kg people on the boat.
Previously had a 60hp 5.5m ribeye that wasn't up to the task so looking for something with more power for water sports, 115hp+.

Based in Dublin, an Irish rib would be preferable to bypass any headaches with customs.

Thanks for looking,
James

Give Timmy in Atlantic Composite in Donegal a shout. He's excellent to deal with and may have something like what you're looking for.

Send me a PM if you need his number and tell him that Aidan recommended you.

I have thought about that alright but I presumed it would be out of my budget, from my understanding they have no used stock to hand, or don't appear to deal with them?

It may be worth giving him a call anyway and speaking to him.

Thanks,
James

I spoke to the guy selling this one, he's looking for 32k which is out of my budget and in my opinion that's too much to spend on a boat at my age (22), albeit I would love to.

I will keep checking DoneDeal daily to see if any come up, cheers.

James

None of these boats are powerful enough, I had a 60hp 5.5m ribeye in the summer which struggled to pull me and 2/3 friends when doing water sports, I would be looking for preferably a 150-200hp one but i have been told a 115hp should do what I want.

Thanks anyway,
James

I found a supposedly English company selling ribs which appeared to be cheaper than the rest around but everything about them appears dodgy.

They supposedly are a UK-based company, all their boats are in a warehouse in Germany to bypass Brexit, I can't find any reviews on them or anything.

I got in touch with them and he sent me a screenshot of his passport for some reason....

Has anyone had any dealings with them previously?

Something funny going on with them anyway and I'd say i'll steer well away from them, I got in touch with them over this rib,

I bought a used RIB from him 2 weeks ago. Was excellent to deal with.
