Zodiac Hurricane 733 rebuild

Hi guys,

New to the forum and chasing some help and info. I will be rebuilding my ex Navy Zodiac Hurricane this year.

I will be changing from a diesel centre mount inboard to a pod or hull extension and outboard either a 300hp or 250hp. Most likely pod.

I will be moving the console forward and replacing the tubes with New foam filled tubes recieved from a Auction. Made by Zodiac in 2016.

Does anyone know the weight of the foam filled tubes or have experience with them? My guess is they are an extra 200kg heavier over the regular air filled tubes.

Also with installing a pod has any other Hurricane owners had any issues with doing that in terms of how the boat will ride?

And last question what pod design have you used?

Any info and advice on rebuilding a Hurricane would be appreciated alot.

Thankyou
