Yet Another Ebay Scam - Chinook Seafury

I have a saved search for Chinook rib on ebay and this showed up a couple of days ago.
6M CHINOOK SEA FURY RIB BOAT | eBay

I contacted them via email and got the usual response back.

The item is in excellent condition, including trailer, engine. The buy it now price including shipping is GBP 3200 (delivered anywhere ). if you decide to buy it but we have to close the deal through eBay, inspection period prior buying it along with a refund policy will be included in the sale terms. Let me know if you want details on how to complete the sale.

I asked if i could pay cash on collection and they replyed with


"we will close this deal ONLY under eBay,with their protection. The transaction will go strictly according to eBay's RULES and POLICY and will be supervised by eBay Trust & Safety Department..
After you'll receive the product you'll have an inspection period of 14 days.

So, I will need your full name and address so I can start the shippment, and like I have told you previous I will keep my word and pay for all the shipping taxes. And after that ebay will contact you with the payment details, and you will follow their steps so we can complete the transaction.

Now that's not nice. If you have the time you could have some fun by asking them all sorts of questions, like can you trial it on the sea before buying and what is the serial number on the transom?

Could a moderator change the title so it has Chinook Seafury in the title? might help Google index it so others can find the post.

I did ask for a pic of the hull id plate and also queried the age as it states its about 8 Years old, Funny that as they stopped making them in 1995

Hey I have won it what a bargain to can't wait to collect it. Only thing the guy won't send me any details through eBay for some reason funny that!!!! I am having some good sport with him though he thinks he has me hooked
