Yam 550R

Hi I was wondering if anyone has any experience of the Yam 550R. I beleive it is no longer in production and i cannot find any contempory reports on this model.
Any comments welcome.

I have the 500R and have been very pleased with it. It is a good leisure family RIB with plenty of locker storage.

Thanks for that. Have you had any problems with it?
I see you have a Merc 75. Have you found this to be enough? Have you water skied with it, if so did the 75 have enough oooph?

No problems at all. The 75 is fine for the 500 and we have had no difficulty waterskiing. The 550 may require more.
