Winter dolphins

Took the rib out last Saturday from Stornoway down the East Coast of Lewis Into the Witches Pool in Loch Maravig and came across a pod of common dolphins on way back. What a stunning day for it! Have managed to get out at least twice a month over winter, although some days have been more ‘challenging’ than others.

Yeah, had been a period of 48 still hours previous. Rare winter spell. Amazing clarity that day, that you only really get in winter high pressure.
