Which insurer for swing mooring

Hi all

Insurer has asked for valuation on boat, can't be bothered.

Any decent insurers out there for £6.3m Humber with 175opti on a swing mooring April- September. Won't be going more than a few
Miles offshore. Bit of skiing and fishing. Purely leisure. Value roughly £15k

Any tips?

Hi Paul. As you know I have swing in the West and have used Euromarine for fifteen years, good firm and easy to deal with and the values are self determined.

jfriends on here is reasonably switched on - he might not be the absolute cheapest, but he is helpful and will listen to what you want rather than just blindly push you what he has. That said is THIS the reason you are having a problem getting cover ;-)

Haha! Yes, we gold plated the hull to stop weed and put diamonds on the tubes to reflect heat. ;-)

We use craftinsure for our 38ft hard boat which sits on a mooring they just charge a larger excess than if it's in a marina
Premium is the same cost
I did ring them and ask the question before I bought the mooring as I expected a big increase in premium

Cheaper than before and no valuation needed.
