Where to go ?

I want to take the Mrs away for her Birthday June time.

Looking to go away on the boat & stay for a couple of nights in a nice hotel.

Looking for suggestions please on a good hotel around the Solent/IOW area that's able to berth the boat.

Is there such a place or am I being to European in my thoughts?

Any help would be most welcome.

Send a message via Skype™ to bogib
You should be able to do bargain coming this way and www.icelandexpress.som is starting flying out of Gatwick this spring.

We would then take you out for a spin and fishing if fancy that...

Here a wee jem from a scotsman

I know it well out of your remit, however for something really special.

http://www.creggans-inn.co.uk

ask for Room 16

They have two mooring for the rib and will come and get you, the trip from the launch (Largs or Kip)far enough for her to think your in the wilds but not to far 3/4 of an hour cruise.

If you decide on it, it would be a long tow but PM me and I'll advise.

Can only endorse what IBWET has advised Loch Fyne is a beautiful Loch and ideal for ribbing anf the Creggans is an idilic spot. Go on spoil yourself weather usually good in June as I usually am up at my caravan and rib on Loch Sween and the weather has never failed me.
have a nice break.

I'm with Avocet on this one.
Jolly nice spot especially if you can get one of the lodges on the river with a view over the boat! Cracking grub too. Nice trips up and down the river with the whole harbour to explore on your doorstep.

Only cons I can think of are distance from open water (10 knot speed limit in the summer months), small pontoon that's a bit rickety last time I looked.
