I have found it very interesting, but very limited as it is clearly early days.

Yes indeed, boatlaunch does have all the marinas in the UK listing all the services. We will shortly be including marinas in northern France. There are more data in the pipeline so keep checking the site.
Whats more you can now buy the data to put on your PC navigation system. We currently support Memory Map and SeaPro and more on the way.
