What's this for ?

my pals Caribe has this little vecro flap just off the bow. I know, I know I should know this - but I don't. Not wishing to sound like a buffoon I told him it was for attaching his anchor warp, which, was of course a wild guess. So, what's it really for ?

Thanks. He has it layed up outside my place at the moment so I'll deftly coil his anchor warp to it whilst he's not about

Self Draining ?

Is it my eyesight ? Is the bow self draining ? Where's the hole ? When she does take on water she looks like she holds quite a bit.
I was looking at Bombardier jetboats a little while ago. One of them had a bow which you could section off and pump full of water to make a jacuzzi. It's true !
