Looks a little odd somehow. The engine looks quite new, so £1800 would be a good deal if it doesn't have many hours on it.

10" wheels on a single axle trailer is a bit poor but not a disaster if you don't have to go far.

Call me old-fashioned, but it does irritate me when people can't be arsed to use a full stop and a capital letter when needed. 163 words in one sentence.

Note that this is his first transaction and he is registered as a business seller. Would be worth finding out his proper trading name. You would then have consumer protection under Sale of Goods Act etc.

If it's not too far from you, go and take a look. Get the serial numbers from the boat and engine - an honest seller will have no problem giving them to you.

Forget all that - see post above!

Maybe not though - possibly just couldn't sell it.

As long as you get to see the boat in person and its COD(couldn't resist) then you should be ok - make sure there's a receipt for that engine though!!!

I think it sold for about £4000, my friend linked me to this ad the other day asking my opinion. We concluded it was too good to be true. But I agree if you can see the boat in person then it should be ok. But never buy anything without seeing it in person, as I discovered with the infamous dan cooper.
