What a save! Sinking yacht

How lucky were these guys and what a great job by the RNLI, CG and the Irish Lights crew. That the yacht stayed afloat so far down by the bow is amazing, that there was no real swell to swamp it a stroke of luck but that one of the bigger floating cranes in Irish water was close enough to get in there when the RNLI couldn't pump it out......

Fair play those lads.

That is one great boat that Irish Lights vessel. I see it quite often in Dun Laoghaire.

Looks like nice and flat conditions helped. Wonder why it was sinking? Seems like a fitting or something would have had to fail. The Irish Light ship had one heck of a crane on it, that could have picked that sailboat right out of the water if they had wanted too.
