Whales and dolphins

Another great session out in the rib. My youngest daughter spotted gannets working a big bait ball offshore so headed over for a closer look, on the way around 20 dolphins joined us.

My eldest daughter aged 15 jumped in with the camera and her friend to see what the birds were feeding on. After dropping down to about 10m she found a large school of pilchards, she got quite a shock as a large brides whale swam beside her. As she filmed the pilchards a whale rushed through scooping up fish as it went.

To finish off they jumped in over a shallow reef for a few tasty rock lobsters for dinner

Warming up on the tubes!!!
