Weather this Sunday, Solent.

Before anyone says im not a fair weather only sort of bloke, but i want to take out some lads this Sunday around the Solent area who havnt been out in a RIB. Checked the forecast and seems a bit murky! Anyone have any opinions for Sundays forecast?
Saturday would be fine but as we are soldiers, the trouble and strifes will only let us out on Sunday!!

Well as everyone knows, the weather today was not quite the norm for April!!!
Took out one of Solent Rib Charters 7.8's. To say the first part of the journey was emotional would be a understatement but soon cleared up towards midday.
Important bit was the lads i took out enjoyed it, maybe a few more converted to Rib'ing!

Cheers to SRC by the way. Will hopefully come back to you in July.

April weather

We were out in the Solent today and it was a bit cold but otherwise okay for our Lymington to the Hamble and back trip. We did go to the Jolly Sailor for a roast lunch and some warmth though. Gavin

Admittedly we went out around 0930, but as soon as we got to Bramble Bank area eased off.

RIBase
Sounds like you did OK today. We were out in Poole Bay yesterday and it went from flat calm to huge chop with whitecaps in about 5 minutes.
