Wear patches

Hello All

I’m going to put some wear patches on the tops of my tubes before the Ocean gets used much this year. The tubes are Yellow, and I was thinking of Black patches, but they will get very hot in the sun.
What do those of you with more idea of style than me think about Mid or Dark Grey on Yellow?

I’m looking to put six 400mm x 300mm patches on, so am going to be needing a piece of Hypalon about 1m square to give me some off-cuts to make a couple of small pockets as well.

Anybody any idea of where I can pick up some Hypalon cheap, maybe an off-cut, or even what width reel it comes on so I can work out what length I would need to order?

Also. Is there a way of chamfering the edges to give a neater finish without the full thickness as a step?

Artic grey looks good with yellow.

A liner meter of Hypalon is 1.45 meters wide if you let me know what sizes you want I can see if we can fit them in to any cut offs we may have.
