Waterbuoy

If anyone had any doubts how good waterbuoy is I had this I phone in a phone aquapac hooked to waterbuoy on a lanyard. Whilst mooring the lanyard clip gave way to see the whole lot sink out of sight below ocean village Marina . Yep the unit inflated and phone recovered after some time out of sight in the darkness

Good to hear.. I might have to order another, I accidentally set mine off by leaving it in a pile of damp kit in the car. It seemed to keep flashing for a very long time though & definitely looked like it would do a good job if used in anger.

We have one on our "boat" phone (sonim) and our "boat" camera.

We have had to replace them twice recently, as the orange end caps keep falling out without any rough handling. Interestingly, one did deploy one night in our lounge and was awoken by the dog barking at a flashing orange balloon!

I like the warning on them about not putting them in your mouth.

My only concern with the waterbouy is the first one i had went off by accident and soon deflated as it had a small pin hole in the top of the ballon. The company sent another one out free of charge and stated that the new models are less likely to go off by accident.

I have just bought one of these for my phones having seen a chap with one today on his rib. Boxit - Built For Action

Waterproof, shockproof and floats.
