If the pants are still in decent condition, why not just replace the latex socks?

I glued them to my Yak Chinook dry pants, so it's got to be worth a try.

Had them 3/4 years now, really decent quality. They are made the same as their drysuits. Just without the top.

I bought a pair of latex dry suit socks and some tape and adhesive front and online seller ,stuck them onto a pair of Gill trousers I had bought but never used ,my tip would be inflate a calf size fender in the leg to support your gluing dia ,glue one side and tape one side
