Two Zodiac Hurricanes

Me and a friend each have a zodiac Hurricane 733. Yesterday we went for a ride to Williamstown, Melbourne. See the Sea Shephers with another 2 zodiacs on its deck. Just a good day out.

Are those both Aluminum Hurricanes? Volvo Diesel Powered?

It WAS a fiberglass hull. Was involved in a car accident after a boat trip. Boat got written off.
The fiberglass is really sturdy. Minimal damage from the accident even though the trailer broke in 7 pieces.
Those were the days.

Hurricanes are built like beasts, i know because i have run with them for a decade and they have never let me down. My 3/4 Ton pickup struggles to tow the 733 through the Pass, i honestly think it weighs well over 6000 lbs with the Volvo and 100 Gallons of Fuel.

I am not entirely sure what you mean by "Written off", Perhaps the damage was greater then the worth of repairing?

I am sorry to hear about that though, it can happen to me anyday given that i have to drive 150-200 miles to get to the coast up here in Alaska.
