tube seal internal rib

Hi I think I have a small slow leak under the tube somewhere I cant reach. Can I use SealFlex or something similar on a 5 metre tube? I obviously cant tumble it as directions state, but was thinking of deflating, pouring sealant in through valve. Then inflating just enough to spread sealant around, then deflating working the sealant around by putting pressure on deflated tube with roller or by hand to spread sealant around, then inflate before tube sticks together.
Any thoughts on this process would be appreciated,
Thanks
Ian

I know the tube works for waxol doing inside trailer box section their tube has a metal clip in the end of the tube that works to spray under pressure. The tube seal is like milk and runs easy that’s how I would do it taking the valve out first

Best you can do is launch It, get the stuff in there and go ribbing on a rough day.

Can I squirt it in without removing valve?

Not really, plus you risk damaging the valve diaphragm, but it's probably going to get covered anyway, and will need replaced at some point. I have used Polymarine's sealant on a slow leak on a Zodiac years ago, so the bottle simply gets poured in, inflate tube, rotate the boat (easy in a SIB), then inflate to pressure. I think what you're describing will work so you can get the internal tube surface covered.

I'd have thought you'd be better off trying to identify the leak, as these products provide nothing more than a thin membrane, so long term - not sure how it stands up?

If you think the pin hole may be in a hard to access area, try filling the boat with 2-3 inches of soapy water and use the trailer to move the water back and forth and see if that reveals anything. Work you're way around the boat with a spray bottle, section at a time.
