RIBase
Morning....

Its a beautiful stretch of coastline (I am very biased, but sure others will agree). Very unspoilt and lost of fantastic wildlife /coastline..... It is an SAC..... Do a search for CBSAC (Cardigan Bay) for further details /best practice etc.

I assume you are staying in Tresaith itself? The beach is okay (as beaches go) for launching, but only by 4x4 IMO. Viper on here is a regular down there I believe? Failing that, drop a friend of mine (via here Dog Food Dave - Pet & Animal Feeds & Supplies) a line and i'm sure he will be happy to help. His name is Stuart and hes a regular RIBber out of Tresaith (he has a 4/5m also).

If you are after a slipway, there is a decent slip and pontoon (free, very quiet but only accessible couple of hours either side) in St Dogmaels at 'The Moorings'..... Need to know the channels, and Cardigan Bar can be a PITA sometimes..... Not really an issue if you are sensible, and have a bit of common Happy to show you around if we are about....Stuart would be a good contact though.....

With a 4metre you will be fine with a 4x4 but be swift as the sand can be soft and we regularly pull swamped 4x4s out that have sat for to long. Pm sent.

Forgot to mention, the shore break can be quite interesting but if in doubt just ask, most of us are friendly!!
