Are you referring to the engine load transfer to the trailer style brackets ? If so there are plenty of video's on YouTube with them.

I have one I use on long range trips (3000k +) but most of the time don't bother on shorter trips. Mine is spring loaded to reduce shock.

3K-K.....Spring Loaded Yes

Interesting point spring loaded. Haven't thought of that and haven't seen any here (yet) in the US. I like that. (3K-K is a pretty big trip even assuming round trip.) My gut feeling local flat trips no big deal but might run from Tampa, FL. to Key West, FL. (800Miles-R/T) and although 98% highway I'd like to relieve the possibility of hammering the transome if I can help it. But mixed feeling if ridged and the spring loaded and if you can pre-load the shock is a great idea. If you can share the mfg I'd appreciate it!! Thanks

I'm using a Yamaha transom saver. It's a bit of hard plastic sleeve and fits over one of the tilt arms. Best bit of kit I've found for my 115.

This is not a transom saver, but it does take the load off the trim/tilt hydraulics;

31023 NEW RITE-HITE Motor Holder Stabilizes Outboard Motors with Two Trim Cylinders and newly added allen wrench - R.M. Industries, Inc.

Super quick and easy to fit and includes two clips to keep the steering centred.

We travel big distances here, on one trip I travelled 4700km in one direction in 4 days and by the time I got home four weeks later I had clocked over 14000km round trip. A 3000k run is normally one way when I head up to Queensland for a mid winter break.

These are the spring loaded systems https://www.theboatwarehouse.com.au/...hoClkQQAvD_BwE

These transfer load to the trailer where some of the others mentioned only take the pressure off the hydraulic ram.

Ha like the spring loaded design. Looks more robust then what's available here in the States. The shipping cost to the US is 2X the cost of the item....Thanks for the input!!

We have the same ordering many things from the US to AU where post can reach 3x the cost of a product. Some places on the other hand are very reasonable, to the point of cheaper than postage within the country.

Attwood make something similar in the states - claims to be shock-absorbing / spring loaded (although I can't see a spring in the pictures). Part number is ATT SP-421-RB
