Cracking week based at Torquay, if you're thinking of a venue for a boating holiday it works well.
Simple easy slip with parking on site (if in early). Plenty of local food and drink options and accommodation to suit all. Sensible charges for weeks pontoon use (£57.50 inc slip, showers, water etc).
In our week we managed;
Fire works at Dartmouth and a night run back.
Steam train from Totnes including a beer festival on the station half way.
Local run around the bay including Brixham for tea and cake and junior helm training.
Ringo fun and mackerel for tea.
Dartmouth and Dittisham for lunch, and what a lunch at the Anchor Stone Cafe.
Diving with penguins at Living Coasts.
Teignmouth, Dawlish and back to Brixham for sausages on the key with crabbing.
Just don't use the on site fuel man
