PLB – As im often on my own, in case I fall in the water and need assistance, carried in my pocket.
Safety Knife – Again as im often on my own, knife for cutting any ropes from lobster pots or incase I get entangled and im in the water, carried in my pocket.
Portable DSC VHF Radio – Again as above, incase main VHF unit packs up, this is held in place on my lifejacket by a clip which attaches to the life jacket lifting ring.
Bottle of water – for drinking
Suitable Clothing in case needed (extra jumper, warm hat, waterproofs)
