today's victims

couple of casualties in the last hour of today's course.
15ft ancient fishing dayboat with an even older little Johnson seahorse outboard ( I remember when those boats were being sold new and they were cr@p then!) crammed with 5 pax but no lifejackets, no radio, no brains. Towed it in from a fair few miles out only to find another even older boat stuck on the banks nearer in with even less equipment. The transom had been glassed over a crack which of course opened up again once on the water - engine hanging on by ropes they had rigged to stop it going for a swim. What were they thinking of on a near 9metre tide with a fair bit of wind over it??
Bit of towing practise for our guys though-every cloud and all that!

I wouldn't want to own half of either of them..cost money to dispose of.
