Thank You Ribnet

I just wanted to thank JK for the RIBnet forums , and all those folk who have given so freely of their advice. I have posted recent threads asking about Rib sharing and anti-fouling and as a result I am delighted to announce that Jason Webb ( JCW ) and myself have become partners / joint owners of " La Bamba" a 5.85 M Ribcraft / 100hp Yamaha. A bit of cosmetic work on the hull and tubes should give a us a lovely Rib ( and I can feel free to pick Jason's brains on all matters ribbing.....)

We'll pick her up from Lymington on Friday morning. Shame I'm at a week long dog-agility show starting Saturday........

Thanks to All once again

Congrats

Bern and Jason,

Jason rang me last week about the boat and it sounded like a well maintained and equipped rig. I'm sure you will have lots of fun with her. Also as two fairly likeminded chaps who live in the same area you should have no problems with owning the boat as a partnership. I did it successfully for 3 year+ with my previous RIB.

Look forward to seeing the new aquistion in the near future!

Cheers,
Alan

Thanks guys for the advice.

As Bernie said, there are a few cosmetic items we need to sort out however we are both looking forward to some good cruising this year.

Well done chaps. Look forward to seeing you both out and about.
Any chance of a photo or two?

Don't suppose you want to start on your joint ribbing summer this Saturday with the great S/W Cruise do you?

Hi Brian,

as much as I enjoyed last years S/W cruise I unfortunately am unable to make it this year.

I will post some photos in the gallery once we have taken delivery.

All the best for the weekend!!
