Test Starting an inboard engine.

Hi everyone, I'm in the final stages of restoring a 6.2M Chinook Sea Fury. The engine, a 3.0l Mercruiser 140, is assembled but I want to test it before I mount it back in the boat. I've searched online but I can't find a wiring diagram that will enable me to do this; can anyone here help? Which of the engine loom pins do I need to connect to the battery? Any help would be much appreciated.
