Sticky? RIB and powerboat rental worldwide

Any interest in a sticky where people could post what and where they have hired bareboat worldwide?

I find it quite time consuming to find somewhere decent and it would certainly influence where I go on holiday.

All fairly new boats, best to go for the hard boat option as the ribs are all Zodiac meds, which are not that great in my humble opinion.

Hired at 550 Flyer with 115HP for a day last week, no problems and great fun.

Also spoke to an English couple who had two ribeyes for charter, Chippy Chop!. Tel 971 352208. Sound good but a dit expensive for what we were after (7m plus with 225HP)

Villefranche sur mer between Nice and Monaco. Rented twice from Dark Pelican there. Cap Camarat 5.5m with a 90. Super yacht spotting at Monaco.

La Rochelle. AMR Location bateau moteur la Rochelle Valiant 7.5m with a 225. Easy trip to Fort Boyard, Isle d'Oleron.

Malta. St. George's bay. Need to dig out the details. Got a 5.5m Cranchi iirc. Nice day trip to Comino and Gozo.

Cyprus. Paphos harbour. Pointy little thing with a 130. No licence required! Short trips of 1 or 2 hrs.

Doing Loch Ness with Caley Cruisers in two weeks time. Floating caravan type thing. No licence needed as inland.

Ibiza - Santa Eulalia - got a brand new Valiant 7.5m with all the toys ~£410 for a full day in high season. Used £65 fuel.

You'll need your ICC with CEVNI, and it helps to speak German. Boats are nothing special, but economical.

On these lines, I'm looking for a house / RIB swap for our place in Western Australia. We have a nice family home and a decent 6.7m RIB. Would love to swap for two weeks holiday with a northern hemisphere enthusiast.
