Sticking things to GRP

I need to attach my Ships radio licence (laminated) to my console. I have decided to not have a windscreen, which means I can't fix the licence to the inside of the screen.

I need to attach my licence to the outside of the console. Does anyone have any suggestion on what will stick well and stay on even if it gets wet. I thought of the sticky foam pads but wandered if there is any thing better.

Clear sticky back plastic. Cover over the licence and stick to the console with say an inch allround. Thats what I used.

Mine came with a plastic sticky back wallet....

But I decided that a motorbike tax disk holder looks more professional and is held together with about 10 allen screws making it harder to 'lose' the licence.

I used a piece of perspex cut to a square, then put a bead of silicone all the way round it and screwed it to the console. Can't blow away or get wet

Agreed. Rub the edge down with your fingernail.

I used the free plastic thingy that came with it; just put it in and stick it to the side of the console. It's been on there 6 months and so it has remained dry (and the RIB lives outside!)
