Stainless pole

I need to get a piece of stainless tubing which I can use as a flag pole. I'm planning to use jubilee clips to "clamp" it to the a-frame - I only need to use it for one day to fly this enormous flag I have been sent.

Where in the Portsmouth area is best for something like this that won't cost the earth. Alternatively does anyone have a pole sitting in their garage they would like to sell?

How big is your flag? I usually use an old fishing rod for that sort of thing. And once you're finished with the flag......

Wouldn't a broom handle do the job just as well?

Tim

Go to B&Q and purchase an aluminium pole use for TV aeriels. Very strong, easy to cut to length and much cheaper than Stainless

Regards

Send a message via MSN to Stoo
Or a shower curtain rod? Stainless is pretty expensive for a one-time use...

I think that would do as a nice cover for revolution!!!!!!!

Tim I have a two part windsurf mast that would do if you fix one half to the A frame with plastic clips and then do the same with the flag to the mast. the mast colour is orange, give me a call

I've a long length of Perspex tube that I can let you have Tim. It'll be easily solid enough for a flag pole and you'll be able to use it again and again as it doesn't rust

PM me and I'll send you my address.
