Dymchurch

There used to be a pretty good slipway. (I'm going back 25 years!)
Looking at google earth, it looks like it's still there. Get your tides right or you could have 1/2 a mile of wet sand to deal with.

Its ok, Parking nightmare, Nightmare in summer with kids everywhere, Fairly steep and as mentioned before lots of sand if tide is out, although you dont have to wait too long if its a rising tide! (Dymchurch BTW).

I normally launch from Rye, you can get launched/recovered by tractor for about £5 - makes life easy LOL. Plenty of parking dont leave car where they park trailer as if its spring tides it floods long way! (point to note slip officially closed Monday - Friday for next 10 weeks as they are having new jetty fitted. Open weekends as normal though.

Have seen them launching from Varne club (only 1 mile from me!), but don't know if it includes non members? Will ask my son-inlaw as he knows people down there.

Mike

Finaly caught up with my son-inlaw,

Varne boat club, members only but membership only about £60 year and also gives use of dumper for launching. They have 2 slips one long and one short.
