Solent Launching Deals

Maybe I am "searching for Utopia(is that just north of Fareham?) but next year I would like to find a cheap launch site on The Solent with a campsite nearby complete with parking for the boat- any ideas from you locals?
Happy New Year to all at Ribnet

Langstone Harbour Slip in Portsmouth. There is a camp site 5 mins away by foot, and you can park your boat there next to ya tent overnight!

The site above says they charge for launching but I have never seen anybody there to take money!

have a look at the map and also look at the other link and you will see how close the park and the slip are.

I Agree with Andy

Langstone harbour dues are if i remamber correctly about £65 for a boat and £90 for a jet ski! and parking at the slipway is Free.

Solent view is a campsite caravan park with it's own slipway. Also if you can camp in the Netley Country park then there is a nifty slipway at Weston about 5 mins away!

I don't really see any problem with the other sugestions either!

Thanks everybody - I knew I would get some suggestions on here. I have emailed Calshot as that seems one of the best bets, especially after launching there for the treasure hunt in September?
See you next Spring - Happy new year to all
