Skin fitting/deck bung?

After taking away the elephants trunk I have no way of draining the well when the boat is sitting out.

I have a drain bung to drain below the floor but this goes into the well.

The picture kind of says it all.

What I'm considering is a skin fitting through the transom as I can't find the normal type bung with a long pipe on it to seal all the way through from one side of the transom to other.

Anyone got any other ideas or know where I could get one of the "normal" bungs with extended pipe.

Because I've gone from twin engines to a single. It would now foul the engine when deployed.

Ah, with you now. Have you got an offset trunk now and this is just to drain the last bit, or is your aim that this serves as a proper scupper. I speak from experience that the time you really don't want to be fannying around trying to remove a bung is when you are now standing in a foot of water in a big sea! If it is a scupper you want the biggest diameter you can find and the easiest bung to remove!

I will be putting two trunks in the transom for when the proverbial hits, one either side of the knees.

The bung idea is just to drain the water that will gather in the sump when the boat is on the trailer outside, if I get water under the deck il not be able to shift it unless I can get it away through transom.

There will be a bilge pump fitted in the sump but I don't want it left in there over the winter where its liable to crack when the water in sump freezes solid.
