SeaSafe lifejacket/coats

Just picked one of these

up for Liz from Rickuk3 on here.I'm really impressed. When it arrived it came with a free rearming kit and harness which is apparently an introductory offer that hasn't been publicised. It can be switched between auto and manual in a few seconds and Liz says it's just like wearing a normal jacket but warmer and it keeps her neck warm. I'll be getting one for myself soon.

<edit> I just read this and it looks like an advert,,,,it's not. I'm just so impressed with these that it reads like one.

Nah - it came across as you intended it. Roughly how much?

Best bet is to contact RickUk3 and ask-there's loads of options and several types. Liz's one is the Explorer.

Seasafe Jackets

Glad you liked it Matt/Liz, must admit I was so impressed with them, I bought 1 for myself and 3 for the staff who work on the boats with me, what we like is that on the boat you have a warm waterproof jacket and lifejacket and when not on the boat you can wear them just like a normal jacket as the waist belt and crutch straps are all hidden away. Have been so impressed that I am now a dealer for them. This is the link to the seasafe site with the full range http://www.seasafe.co.uk/store/categ...?categoryId=81 if anyone is interested in one PM me for a price.

They look ideal - at last pockets where you can keep a vhf, knife and flares etc

I assume that big handle sticking out of the top is part of the display stand and not a large handle sticking out of the top???

They use these jackets in the shipping agency at work, makes life much easier climbing up and down pilot ladders etc. Not cheap and if I hadn't got my flotation suit I would have bought one, but the Fladen is too warm not to use in these parts
