£3500-£4000?

Hard to say without seeing it, looks as though with a clean up and some wax it would be tidy.

I'd sell the engine on it's own and then either sell as a bare boat or put an older engine on. Looks like it's a bit of a project? And people will want to pay project prices.

Assuming it holds air, the hull isn't battered it's not covered in patches, clean it up and replace that torn seat it should fetch close to £6k.

That's a rebuild mate . I'd clas a project as fitting a console, clean up and bits and bobs.

If you decide to split the hull and motor I'd be interested in the motor

gotta be nearer 6k like NOS says with that lovely opti on the back - the tubes look like there from an avon adventure - more pics if poss as I just like looking at pics! but generally looks good and definitely not the standard fitted out searider - good luck with the sale anyway

I'd like that opti - I have a spare fiver in my pocket?

It's got to be worth that for the engine alone

2500 to 3000 k are you drunk?? were you beaten as a child?? £5250-5500 would be a realistic price in todays market BUT with a bloody good clean up, try to mint it and £5750 should be achievable,

Could you please delete every post in this thread except Jono's and blueboy758. I can then go down and pile Jono with lots of Jack D and give him £1500

I dont know, that sounds like a lot for that boat. Maybe you should start out around 1000 and maybe go up from there LOL.

Avon sale

I sold a 1995 Avon SR4 and a Mercury 40 (non electric tilt) plus a Rollercoaster One and full winter cover a few months ago for £3,350 - had owned it since 1998 and was always covered when in use. Condition was immaculate and it showed - sold without advertising on local word of mouth and could have sold it several times over.........
