Are the ratchet straps screwed into the deck Mr H? And how many screws would you recommend?

Looks like the wood around the tanks is screwed or bonded to the deck and then the strap retainers are screwed into the wood.

on the original grey wood version, the straps are pre made with a loop and a plastic c bracket, on my version the strap is a continuous loop and a stainless steel door handle,(8mm tubular pipe bent 90 degrees )threaded into the wood and bolted
