sad news...

America's Cup Champion, Peter Blake of New Zealand, was killed on the mouth of the Amazon River, when bandits approached and boarded his 119-foot yacht, 'Seamaster'. Three or four bandits approached his yacht from a rubber dinghy. " It would appear Peter was down below and heard what was going on, and came charging up, and was shot twice." said Alan Sefton, spokesperson for Blake's organization.
Blake was on a worldwide expedition to monitor global warming and pollution abroad.
Blake led Tean New Zealand to America's Cup Victories in 1995 and 2000.
