Rubber paint?

We want to repair a hole that is from where the boat is deflated and the creases and has subsequently cracked. Its right next to the strake and we want to fix it now cheaply. Have heard you can use rubber paint? Not sure what this stuff is called or where to get it from?

I have used paint on a old inflatable but that was 20 + years ago this was for tubes where the fabric was showing and weeping air! worked but sold it soon after so do not know for how long!
Tuff-Coat Inflatable Boat Restoration Paint
I would try Home page as I have done a few repairs with it and so far has worked well and a cheap solution too
