Ribtec 7.8

Help, we've been asked by a scrutineer for the Round Britain race to locate in the Poole area a 7.8 Ribtec, he needs to measure one for the race.

Anyone know of one?

Boat Lengths

Just submitted our stats for the ribcraft to RB.

7.8m actually comes in at 7.54m loa 6.85 transome to nose.

RB now in negotiation.

Cheers

It would be a good idea to contact Ribeye or Ribtec to ask them where your nearest dealer is?

I saw two or three 7.8 Ribtecs on the Hamble last weekend while out teaching if this is any use. They were all out and about on the river so not sure where they had come from.
Also was in Solent Honda's yard at Warsash last weekand they were loads of Ribtecs in there on the shore. Most were 6.5's but I'm sure I saw a 7.8. May be worth giving them a call.
Otherwise Ocean Quay Ribs in Southampton usually have one or two kicking aroung in their workshops and yard in the process of being fitted out and Southampton University have one at the Oceanography centre.

I've got a Ribtec 7.8, what do you want to measure?

Or if your near southampton you can measure whatever you want yourself if you like.
