RIBEX - meeting up

As the last thread has wandered off track a bit thought that i'd post a new thread on the subject.

We will be there again this year with Scorpion & Prorainer (clothing) so if you are around then do pop over and say hello. We're also supplying the Ribcraft demo boat so will probably will be with some of you on the water as you go for blasts.

For those that know us, Don will be over Friday & Saturday and Terry Fri & Sundaywith Simon there Sat & Sun. We'll obviously be there all three days.

See you there

Paul, Viv

Richard

We have a stand which should be branded (if everything arrives in time!). Last year we had a joint stand with Scorpion and are sharing with them again across two stands.

Like last year we'll have a couple of craft in the visitors area which should be Bojangles (8.5m Scorpion) & the school's motor cruiser which we're staying on during the show

See you there?

Paul

Paul,

I'm confused! You appear to have Scorpions and Avons, yet you are supplying the Ribcraft demo boat?

I spoke to Jason Purvey a week or so ago and he indicated that he might have a 6.8 there. Is this your boat? The 7.8 is one of those that I am considering.

Regards,

Chris.

P.S. Great book and superbly illustrated! I shall be wanting to get my ICC later this year, so will probably get in touch in the Autumn.

Looking forward to meeting up with fellow RIBnetters - come and find us on the BIBOA stand.

As we'll be busy during the day, we thought we might try to fit in a bit of evening cruising during the weekend so if anyone fancies it, get in touch. Could maybe go somewhere for dinner?

Chris

The craft is a 7m Ribcraft, blue tubes + yellow grp plus a 225 opti on it. Heard last night from Simon Hawkins (who runs it) that it may now be not actually the one on the Ribcraft stand (which explains Stu’s (SCM) post) but will be available for Ribcraft to demo as the craft on the stand needed to have a Suzuki on it. It will probably be round the corner in Sheppards and Jason will call me or Simon to arrange demos on it as required.

Your right re the Avons & Scorpions but this one is for the Solent base out of the Hamble and is run by Simon out of Cowes.

Paul

PS: Thanks re the Book, copies available on our stand

Looking forward to buying you and Danny and crews a beer! You'll more than deserve it after that trip!

Following on from Pauls Post. My boat was going to be used by Ribcraft on the pontoon, but as it does not have a Suzuki Engine Ribcraft cant show it on the stand. However Ribcraft have said that they will use it as a demo boat if anyone is interested in the 7m. Speak to Jason on the stand and he will contact either me or paul to arrange demos as both of us will be close by at the show anyway.
