They are Falcon RIBs, manufactured in South Africa and imported by RIB-X:

Rib-X
Brockhall Buildings
Pebble Hall Farm
Theddingworth
Leicestershire
LE17 6NJ

Tel: 01455 554501 (07739 809060)

I thought they did had a web site at www.rib-x.co.uk but there's only a title page there now.

Although Falcon owners seem to be pleased with their boats there have been some very unflattering pictures posted here which apparently show a Falcon under construction . . .

Can I just add that whilst taking the rise out of Manos is very much a pastime here and on BoatMad, I do think that his biggest "fault" is enthusiasm, and whilst he has occasionally posted some unsound information, it's been quickly challenged both by amateurs like me and by the professionals. All in all, both forums are now lacking a colourful character.

Mr Simmons, Manos is "suspended" on BoatMad and "read-only" here.

OMG, I'm banned!

From all his posts that ive read manos is an absolute legend.
I think it was a bit harsh banning him from here for misguided information as by the sound of it no one really shared his opinions anyway.
We need someone like manos to spruce things up a bit...

Never met the man, however,

I enjoyed reading his threads. "Bring Back Manos - Bring Back Manos - Bring Back Manos - Bring Back Manos - Bring Back Manos - Bring Back Manos" and I agree, a bit of spice, fun and enthusiasum shouldn't be frowned upon. After all Jesus said.....joke

Well that's not very nice is it. And just as I was considering paying a visit to the St Clair-Bolam tearooms, where I had heard you were doing a Xmas special of a free scone with every cup of tea Purchased. I was even thinking of buying a case of South Afrikaaan CoCo Pops and a dozen bottles of Zulu Fire Sauce!
