RIB Lift/Crane spreader frame ideas...?

Hi all - newbie here. Have a new-to-me Sirocco 500 + Etec 60HP.

Right now I am splashing the boat on a ramp. In very salty Miami waters. Everyone tells me this aluminum trailer isn't going to last - no matter how much I rinse it.

This RIB has very nice pad eyes to put slings and our club has a lift/crane. Yay!

So far so good. Here are the complications:
  • The crane is low. RIBs with slings to pad-eyes use it, but the crane hook is pretty low on the RIB - boats with any kind of console don't quite fit.
  • My RIB has a tall-ish off-center console.

So trailer height + boat height + sling angles to clear the console == much higher than the crane highest hook position.

What tricks can I apply to make this work? I've seen some spreader bar type frames - a rectangular alum profile frame. I'd have to get that fabbed.

Any other ideas? Thoughts? Engineering thoughts on fabbing the frame?

The RIB + engine + fuel and stuff are under 1000lbs - 500Kg.

Any comments?

Here's a picture of the latest model - mine's older and less flash, but same basics - https://www.siroccomarine.com.au/boa...b-alloy-500-l/

Our setup is similar to what's depicted in the picture here, but our crane is much shorter in height, so fitting the trailer etc is a dicey proposition... https://www.alamy.com/preparing-to-l...364898387.html

RIBase
If you google - boat launch weight spreader bar - you'll see a number of options.

A single bar, front to back with twin lifting staps, set to the correct length so that the bar is above the consul would allow for the crane to operate I'd have thought. You only need to get it high enough to pull the trailer out.
