Not good, I have a camouflaged Sea Kayak and use it in quite busy waters!

So don't operate a remote control boat alongside your RIB, keep a look out to see where your going instead, and he was a sea safety instructor

RIB hits Sea Kayak

Very interesting reading through the replies on the forum.

No doubt more info will come out although I can not think of any excuse for what happened. A Lookout is what it says on the can.

I found myself agreeing with one of the contributers on the other forum.

As a diver I know what it is like to be near a RIB in the water and my thought too was that the last thing I would do is be in the water (capsizeing on purpose) in front of a fast moving RIB. Rather take my changes above the water.

But I guess its down to that fraction of a second decision.
