Rib capacity

As a rib rookie, I was wondering whether anyone knew if a 40 horse power 2 stroke engine could cope with a wakeboard?

40HP

I've been running a 4 metre rib this summer with a 40hp mariner on the back, it's fine for pulling up a wakeboarder, i'm 15 stone and i have no problem getting up, it even pulls my mate up and he's 17.5 stone!!! It does'nt give you the biggest wake but if you trim it out it gets better.

i seen teenagers wakeboardign behind a 15hp 2 stroke in the camel estuary. Might be a long pull but if its on a light boat such as a small rib or inflatable then the 40hp will be fine.
