The lads did a great job on the console, Just needs polishing and checking for any repairs

Also a few upgrades may be in order too....

A couple more pics of the hull during polishing, it looks really great but there are a few places that need a little more attention so Biffer is going to have a look at them as we ran out of time really...

A really great weekend and I hope that you all enjoyed the pics as much as we did doing the work.

Yeah, the original Avon mounting points were never really up to the job on all Seariders as they are very week.

Biffers idea that he has done before does away with the old studs and a hole is drilled through the old under deck plate and straight through the hull at a slight angle, the bolt and plate are welded together and polished. This new fixing is bonded to the hull with Stikaflex

Yes I have to thank Nos for that one

He found out the colour was Light Weather Work Grey, but no one could find it

Eventually I found it be advertised as a standard grey colour and in the description it said "Also know as Light Weather Work Grey" The harder you look the luckier you get

1. Polish hull with compound, the lambs wool polisher was best.

2. Feather out all the edges of the repairs with 400 Wet and Dry (used dry)

If you polish first you get the boat near to its original colour, when you put on the new Gell you are less likely to get an old colour ring around the repair

I must be the unluckiest guy here then....I've googled and googled but can't find it and could do with some for my SR. Can you point me in the specific direction?
