Replacment bench seat base

Hi my daughter and friends have trashed my seat base on my Ribeye, it is ply at the moment which I can replace like for like, but is there a better alternative to it?
Any ideas would any of the man made boards be up to the job??

Photo of the type I have but mine is standard blue and grey colour.

Thanks for that this looks like it would be a good alternative!

Poly-wood sheet white 1220 x 800 x 18 mm thickness - Vetus Marine Shop

Vetus-Shop.Com : Poly-wood sheet white 1220 x 800 x 18 mm thickness (Vetus SH18WSH)

Recon I will need 18mm to cover the span I have!

Any one used Poly-wood or High Density Polyethylene?
If so what are you using to glue to this as from what I can find out you can not glue to High Density Polyethylene!
Are you just stapling to it??
