Replacing Rib Tubes

One of my boats is a 2.5metre Avon Rib with more patches over leaks than a Government Department. One tube currently has a very slow puncture and the other a faster one. Is it economic or over the top to replace the tubes and where can this be done as I don’t live anywhere near the coast (Leicestershire). ?

Ah! are you southof the M25? but gorra tell you Manchester is as far from Leicester as Southampton (I think). Tube replacement I don't think is economicaly viable so I'm looking for a pro patch fitted . There should be a suitable company in the East Mids somewhere I hope.

Yep From down south & by my map you are closer to Manchester than Southampton & you also said Leicestershire which could have been anywhere in the county!

Central Marine Services at Ilkeston 0115 944 2442 are just up the M1 from you.
They should be able to do the repair patches for you. I don't think they are doing retubes though.

Thanks for that, I have just sent them an Email to see if they undertake puncture repairs to Avon Ribs.
