Rent a rib in Suffolk

Hi,

I’m looking to rent a rib somewhere near Ipswich Suffolk. Can’t see anywhere that charters bareboat ribs in Suffolk...do you know of anywhere or anyone who would rent me a rib? I’m an experienced sailor considering switching to power boating and want to try out a rib first. Any advice v gratefully received.

Not aware of anywhere. But. Almost certainly no-one rents if you don't have PB2...

Might be worth thinking about what size / type of RIB you may be after then talk to some dealers / manufacturers about a sea trial
SBS is not far off - may be worth a trip and book up some demos in advance.

Nope will need PB2 & usually SRC

i launch from levington ,have a couple of different boats ,nothing for hire but if its a run out you need ,we can poss help . what size boat are you thinking of ,we can always get plum out with his collection

No bareboat in Suffolk. An option could be Southwold Voyager in Southwold - you can book an experience session where you drive under the supervision of a commercially endorsed skipper. But as others have said, without PB2 you won’t be able to bareboat charter anywhere.
