Redbay 650

Yes Ive finally got it the Redbay 650 stormforce was delived to the dealer 10 days ago from Ireland and I picked her up today. I took her out in the Solent this afternoon for a trial run.

The finish and the ride on the Rib is excellent and the Guys at MRL the UK dealer were very good. Ive dry stacked at Southampton dry stack I thought I would try that for a year to see how I get on.

Im looking to get out from Southampton in her this Sat if any one feels like meeting up in the Slent for a trip over to Cowes or Yarmouth let me know.

Steve

You need to download a photo resizer, something like this one and then you should be OK. Some one will probably be more precise but it is so long since I did it that I can't remember the exact instructions now. Any problems, email some photo's to me and I will put them on for you.

Good luck with the new boat, you will not be disappointed

Had a good look round one of these during the summer and was very impressed.
The quality and finish seemed to be far superior to some other redbay's that I have seen.
Really liked the one piece console and pod setup.

Have you sea trialed her yet?
What top speed do you expect?

Would be interested in looking at one if one became available second hand.

Yes it was my first trip out last Sunday went with other Ribnet members to Yarmouth it was very good Rib conditions for the day. I have her stored at Southampton.

Ive only got 3 hours on the engine so still taking it slow. Im glad I had the 175 engine anything smaller would be a bit underpowered from what I can feel. The offer price on the Rib was for a 140 engine which would have been too small I think.

It came with VHF radio, 7in chartplotter, Garmin 90 fishfinder, Offshore compass, 2 Fire Extinguishers, Aerial, 210 litre fuel tank, Pump and Lines, console cover, double A frame. I went with 2 jockey seats and a rear bench seat so not bad.

Thanks for putting a picture on all my attempts have failed so far

Steve
