Recommended tube repair and engine servicing companies
Evening all,
I have 6m RIB based in London. And I am looking for recommended and reputable businesses for:
- Bond repair between the tubes and hull
- Yamaha engine servicing
Preferably to the north or east of London, but happy to go anywhere if someone knows someone good.
Both relatively rare in central London as it's not exactly a boating Mecca, which is why I'm kept busy keeping everything going at Greenwich Yacht Club!
The most common mobile engine service guy I see around here is Tim Ross (TMR Marine) both for leisure users and commercial users/RYA centres. I've seen him do GRP repairs, he might do tube work too.
I've never used them for servicing, but Mike and team at Boating Mania in Upminster have always been great at getting hold of hard to find/out of stock parts for me for random engines, and I believe they do servicing at the base (not mobile).
