raymarine A 60 help

Got a ray marine A 60 chart plotter taken the cf card out and plug it into a pc. would like to put way points in and all those things in the comfort of a armchair .
Got a card reader , plugged it in , it does bring the navionics up and previous charts [ you cant open them] that was done on the chartplotter, but that's where it stops cant open it
do I have to buy a app from navionics, or what
It will be great to hear from the much more experience peeps on here

Thank you
Tim

Guys, you'll need the software that can be downloaded from the Raymarine website - last time I looked it was FOC. The site appears to be down at the mo'

I hope you're using the "proper" Navionics cardreader? Standard PC card readers are not compatible and can cause the card to self erase or block.

Edit; I'd recommend using a blank card for transferring waypoints etc.
