RANT about theaving ****s at Calshot

Went down to my boat at Calshot today. When I got there I could see that someone had removed the seat cushion. Went over and had a look and they had removed the contents of the locker below. Whilst there wasnt anything of value in there it has really pissed me off. Why the hell would someone do this??? On the black market what they've got is probbaly worth a tenner although its going to cost me £75 or so to replace.

GRRRRRRRRR In hate people like this AND WANT TO SHOOT THEM IN THE F**KING HEAD

I'll have to drink a lot this evening to dispell the rage I think.....

Off to get some Strongbow. rant over

Boat's been there 10 days.....

I reported it to them then rang the police. Odviouly for such a small crime they wont do anything about it although they did ring me to say I could go through the 106 hours of tapes that it could be on, if I wanted to.

The security at Calshot is pretty crap. On their sales blurb they say there's always a gateman on duty who checks everyones identity as they come in; ur supposed to show ur green pass thing if you are a member. I havnt seen anyone on duty in the gate keeps hut yet....

Not at all. If you theave from someone you should loose your human rights. So far this year I have had stolen a wheel clamp from the garden shed, and my father's wheel barrow. We installed CCTV but they got wise to this and managed to push the camera up before carrying out a further removal from our premasise. I blame lack of disapline in schools. Teachers in state schools are too frightened to so much as shout at kids these days becasue they will either get punched in the face or some complaint made about them.
On the same sort of note, I was in pizza express at Gunwarf at the weekend. There was this extremly dodgy looking family who seemed to be giving the waitering staff a hard time. Then they decided to have a game of "bogies" (from dick and dom in da bungalow ooo how i hate that program) whereby they took it turns to shout bogies. The fatehr was worse than the kid; they were really shouting at the tops of their voices. Skum like this should be shot as well!

Having downed quite a bit of alchol since my first post I now realise I left my car in a 3 hour parking place and it now needs moving. SHould I rist getting charged for drink driving, driving it round the corner or just wait for the parking fine....?

Tim

Sorry to hear about your theft. I know the Police are hard pressed but isnt it their job to go through the tapes. As a nation we all now accept the police will not follow up small crimes.

What is a small crime? A loss of equipment valued at £70 to a student must be a big crime. Of course by not trying to catch crimminals who commit small crimes gives them permission to carry on with crime.

It now seems that the role of the police is not to investigate but to hand out crime numbers to enable us to claim from our insurance company I know that this is not how the Policeman on the beat wants it.

Roy I totally agree. People shouldn't be allowed to get away with things like this; in the middle ages you would loose a hand for stealing an apple. We have become too soft a nation.

My insurance won't cover it either becasuse a: they didnt force enrty and b its lower than the excess.

What, you mean to breathe?

So, what would you do to someone who was violent and injured you or a friend or family member?

Is the right to breathe a formal human right?

If you break the law you consider your self to be apart from civilised society therefore you should not be treated like a civilied person. Odviously this has boundries and thresholds but you get the idea.
